    • Against the epicurean position, the rationality aboutthe preoccupation with death is discussed by the present paper. For this purpose two elemental thesis are proposed. The firstone supports that it is rational to worry about death beforedying because we conceive the idea of a discourse in which theimpossibility of interfere in the world to satisfy our pendinggoals is lamented. The second thesis is that death afflicts anyprejudice only to whom wonders about it, because thisquestion encloses the idea that one transcends by means of theachievement of our purpose, for that it is presupposed thatwith death the interests and aim are kept constant.
